Who We Are
St. James Episcopal, Dundee is a quaint and charming ‘English Countryside Gothic’ church. It features a cruciform gothic building with a Norman tower and Tudor windows of exquisite stained glass. The church was constructed of brick from the Haeger Pottery Plant – our local ‘stone’.

We are a faithful community steeped in rich tradition and a long history, We gather from several neighboring communities each Sunday to praise God and share the Holy Eucharist. |
Our parish values everything that the word "community" implies - common goals, a sense of fellowship, a feeling of belonging to a large extended family and helping those in need. Parishioners of all ages and of all socio-economic backgrounds enjoy the opportunities that our community has to offer.
St James is not too much of anything and just about enough of everything. We are conservative, but not up tight, We are liberal, but not foolhardy. We embrace change but not just for the sake of change. We pursue growth, but not just for the sake of growth itself. We want you to join us, we will join with you.
In all, our beautiful church is comprised of faithful believers. We appreciate what we have; we nurture it. Our faith is deepened within our walls and provides us the grace to succeed at what we do.
