EPISCOPAL RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT
Words That Inspire. Deeds That Transform.
"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." — Matthew 25:40 (NRSV, extracted from our mandate 25:37-40)
Episcopal Relief & Development is an international relief and development agency and a compassionate response to human suffering on behalf of The Episcopal Church. Our work to heal a hurting world is guided by the principles of compassion, dignity and generosity. We take our mandate from the words of Jesus, found in Matthew 25: 37-40, that call us to feed the hungry, care for the sick and welcome the stranger.
Saint James has supported the work of ER-D by participating by purchasing "Nets for Life" treated nets to help stop the spread of malaria in Africa, Hatian earthquake, Japan tsunami, and building clean water wells providing fresh water that is disease free.

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN
Saint James has become a partner with FMSC to address the issue of hunger in North America and around the world.
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
