The death of a member of the Church should be reported as soon as possible and arrangements for the funeral should be made in consultation with the Priest. Baptized Christians are properly buried from the church.
Saint James extends grace to all especially in the loss of a loved one. If you are not a member of Saint James, we offer Christian funeral and burial services to those who seek us out to provide comfort and care to families.
We encourage our people to meet with the Priest and make their funeral preparations long before they will be needed. Our Churchyard on Washington Street is the place where we can inter the ashes of our departed.
